We envision Olivia Social as a safe, collaborative space for our community to collectively work towards spending smarter, saving more, and stressing less about money — ultimately contributing to their improved financial health. We also aim to provide our users with maximal freedom in terms of their contributions within the bounds of the guidelines presented below. These guidelines apply to all of our users with no exception and are enforced by us, the Olivia team. If you believe that any post or comment may be in contravention of the rules below, you may utilize the in-app “report” function to bring it to our attention. Your report will be reviewed by the Olivia team and actioned as necessary. We reserve the right to take what we deem as appropriate action in response to breaking the guidelines below. We may initiate contact to discuss a suspected potential breach of the below or may revoke access to Olivia if we deem it necessary. When in doubt about any of the below rules, please feel free to reach out by emailing us at email@example.com or by using the “Talk to a human” feature present within the Olivia app. Within these broad guidelines please remember that the Olivia Social community belongs to you, our users. Tell us what kinds of posts you find useful by liking them. Please report any issues you may have, general or specific. We will do our best to incorporate your feedback into future releases.
Rule 1 - Be kind and courteousWe’re all human. Please be kind and courteous when interacting with other users. All forms of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence are bannable offenses.
Rule 2 - Respect the privacy of othersOlivia Social is meant to be an anonymous safe space and we ask that you help keep it that way. Revealing any information you might have about a user’s identity, or soliciting information from other users that may reveal their identity is disallowed.
Rule 3 - Do not post unacceptable or illegal contentThis should be pretty self-explanatory, but to be sure — the following are absolutely disallowed from Olivia and, in certain cases, may even merit us reporting the activity to the appropriate authorities. In no particular order: → Bullying, abusive, threatening, harassing, stalking, intimidating, or defaming content; → Deceptive, false, misleading or fraudulent content; → Spam; → Pornographic, vulgar, obscene, indecent or unlawful content; → Content that encourages, promotes, facilitates or instructs others to engage in illegal activity; → Copyright-infringing content; → Content that is invasive of another's privacy or otherwise violates another’s legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity); → Content that involves impersonating another person or party.
Rule 4- Do not spam referral links and self-promoting contentWhile we want to make sure our users can share information on deals and coupons that may prove relevant to other users, please refrain from repeatedly posting self-promoting or referral link content. This will make sure that the space remains relevant and easy to navigate for other users of the community.
